As we all know, Royal Enfield is presently developing a new line of bikes for the Indian market. After the successful launch of the Meteor 350 and the new-gen Classic 350, the brand is focusing on its 650cc cruiser motorcycle, which is likely to be called the ‘Super Meteor’.

The Super Meteor moniker was previously used in the US market in the 1950s, indicating the company’s intention to attract a broad range of worldwide customers. As per the sources, the bike is anticipated to launch during the 2021 EICMA show from 23rd to 28th November in Milan, Italy.

A few months ago, IndianAutosBlog rendered the forthcoming motorcycle digitally based on the spy images. In terms of design, the bike will have a rear-swept handlebar and forward-set footpegs for comfortable ergonomics. Also, it will get split-style seats, a round headlamp with a chrome bezel, a teardrop fuel tank, twin-sided exhaust canisters, and a circular taillight. No confirmed details are available about the new colour scheme yet.

However, we see the all-black colour in spy shots. While talking about mechanical details, the bike is going to use the same 648cc, parallel-twin, air-oil cooled engine which is capable of producing 47 bhp of max power and 52 Nm of max torque.

Moreover, it will come equipped with a six-speed transmission with assist and slipper clutch as standard. Other notable features include USD front forks, both front and rear disc brakes supported by a dual-channel ABS system, a semi-digital instrument console with Google-powered Tripper navigation as well as black alloy wheels.

The tyres also look broader than the Meteor 350. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is expected to hit the Indian markets by March 2022, and like its previous models, it will be available with a variety of accessories and the MIY programme. After being launched, the anticipated Super Meteor 650 will be the most expensive bike in the company’s current lineup in the country.
