Royal Enfield is currently working on a slew of new bikes for the Indian two-wheeler market, and the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is also one of them. According to the latest media reports, the upcoming bike is built on a new platform and will have a trellis frame. Also, the new styling will be heavily influenced by the existing Himalayan.

The RE Himalayan 450 will come powered by an all-new liquid-cooled engine, which is claimed to be capable of producing more than 45 HP, but in the adventure motorcycle, it will produce around 40 HP as Royal Enfield has focused on providing better low and mid-range performance.

The engine will be paired to a six-speed transmission, while the upcoming ADV will come with a slipper clutch as well as a dual-channel ABS system as standard. Because the Himalayan 450 will be positioned as a hardcore middleweight ADV, a few features could make this bike very exciting.

Regarding comfort and seating ergonomics, we expect the upcoming motorcycle to get features like centre-set pegs, a long single-seat setup, and an easy-to-reach handlebar. As far as its launch is concerned, we can expect the bike to hit the Indian roads in the first quarter of 2023. To read more about the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, you can tap on the image below.
