Thunderbird 350X vs Jawa 42 (Exhaust Sound Comparison): YouTube channel DCV has compared the exhaust sounds of Thunderbird 350X and Jawa 42 in this video. The person recording the video has claimed that no editing was done to the sound and camera as well as the distance of recording was kept the same in both the cases.
Thunderbird 350X has the iconic little thump like all other Royal Enfield models, and the exhaust note turns into an odd sound when revved hard. The feel of Jawa 42’s exhaust sound is completely different. It roars when revved lightly while full throttle push brings a big displacement motorcycle sound. The availability of twin exhaust makes the Jawa 42 feel more proportional for the recording device.
