Hero October 2026 Dispatches Rise to 7.34 Lakh as Exports Decline

Hero MotoCorp reported 7,34,403 dispatches in October 2026, up 15.5% from 6,35,808 a year earlier. Domestic dispatches increased, while exports moved in the opposite direction. The result is a company supply measure; it should remain separate from retail-registration figures.

Domestic growth offsets weaker exports

Domestic and export dispatches reconcile to the headline total. Exports were 5.4% below the year-earlier 30,979 units, so the overall increase should not be described as uniform growth across markets.

Vida dispatches are not a separate addition

The reported Vida figure identifies the electric brand's dispatch volume within the wider business. Adding it to the company total would double count those vehicles. A growth rate taken from a separate registration series would also need to retain its registration label rather than be presented as dispatch growth.

Why the distinction matters

Factory dispatches indicate supply moving through a manufacturer's business. Registrations describe another stage, with their own timing and coverage. The two can both be useful, but a difference between them is not enough on its own to quantify dealer stock or prove a change in consumer demand.

For Indian buyers, the company total does not establish delivery availability for a particular motorcycle or scooter. An exact variant and dealer allocation remain the relevant checks for an individual purchase.

Hero's October 2026 dispatch update combines overall year-on-year growth with weaker exports. Reading the components separately gives a more accurate picture than treating the headline, Vida subset and retail reports as interchangeable totals.
