The interior gets matching Black and Red steering wheel cover for added sporty feel. It continues to offer the class leading touchscreen infotainment system and other features on the variants. The design additions are available on 800cc, 1.0 liter and AMT version of the same. The additions are available till the stock last while the changes still are far away from the extreme design concepts of Auto Expo 2016. Renault KWID is one of the best selling cars in the entry level segment. The 799cc engine on the KWID is good for 53.2 BHP and 72 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT transmission. The second engine is a 1.0 liter, 3-cylinder engine producing 67 BHP and 91 Nm of torque. KWID carries a crossover inspired design and starts as low as INR 2.80 lakh. The base version even comes without a power steering while the top spec version carries class leading features. It rivals Hyundai Eon, Maruti Alto and Datsun redi-Go in the Indian market.
