Renault Duster is one among the favorite SUVs of India. A recent report on the internet claims that Renault is offering up to INR 2 lakh worth discount on the car. The same report claims that they will discontinue most of the variants and will keep 85 PS RxE, 85 PS RxZ and 110 PS RxZ AMT in their lineup.
The move is said to help Renault place the upcoming Kaptur at a better point. The presently offered discount is exclusive to Gang of Dusters members only. Even the screenshot seen here is from the email that was received by one of the member.
The standard 85 PS Diesel Duster has 34 units for sale in White shade. All of them can be had with INR 1.60 lakh of discount from the original price. Apart from that, one can get INR 10,000 of exchange bonus and INR 7,000 corporate bonus on both the cars.
The INR 2 lakh discount is only available on 110 PS AWD Adventure Edition. They have 58 White and 15 Silver Dusters with this offer. The all-wheel drive variant is the most effective Duster ever built, performing equally impressive on road as well as off-road.
The current price for standard 85 PS variant is INR 9.21 lakh. These 34 units will cost INR 7.61 lakh each, saving straight INR 1.60 lakh from the asking price. On the other hand, Adventure Edition 110 PS Duster is available for INR 13.45 lakh while these 73 units will cost just INR 11.45 lakh each. The powerful AWD Duster produce 110 PS and 245 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The second version of the same 1.5L diesel engine is good for just 85 PS and 200 Nm of torque.
