In an interview, the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau explained how OnePlus TV is better as compared to its competitors and gave a little peek into the features of the smart TV. He said, "One more key selling point that I want to highlight is that we are really optimising the Android TV system which I don't see a lot of brands in Indian market [doing]. Because of our great partnership with Google, not only do we use their Android TV system but we also optimise it very deeply." He also added that the smart TV will be equipped with a revamped UI as compared to other Android TVs, giving an augmented exposure.
About the future ventures, the company said that it may also come up with 45-inches and 65-inches variants of the OnePlus TV and will compete with smart TVs like that of the Samsung, LG, and Sony.
