Mirroring changes made to the Unlimited, the Rubicon model features a new all-black grille and freshly designed 17-inch alloy wheels. It retains its diverse color range which includes Sarge Green, Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal, and Firecracker Red, along with its distinctive badges and decals that emphasize its robust off-road capability.

Interior Enhancements for 2024 Jeep Wrangler

Internally, the Wrangler's facelift retains much of the previous layout but includes significant updates such as a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen compatible with Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 OS. This adjustment has led to a redesign of the air vents which are now sleek slits located below the screen. Both the Unlimited and Rubicon versions feature upgraded 12-way power front seats and enhanced connectivity with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The addition of two new airbags brings the total to six.

Enhanced Safety Features

Advanced safety features on the new Wrangler include electronic stability control, automatic headlights, hill start aid, hill descent control, and electronic roll mitigation. For added safety, it includes a tyre pressure monitoring system, as well as rear parking sensors and a camera.

Powertrain and Off-road Capabilities for 2024

The powertrain remains unchanged, with both variants using the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine shared with the Grand Cherokee, delivering 270hp and 400Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system continues to provide exceptional off-road capability, with no changes to the approach, departure, and breakover angles.

The Rubicon model further enhances its off-road prowess with a Rock mode in the Selec-Trac system, lockable front and rear differentials, an electronically disconnectable front sway bar, and a robust 240 Amp alternator.

Market Position and Rivals

Despite the price hike, the Wrangler remains competitively priced against its closest rival in the Indian market, the Land Rover Defender 110, which ranges from Rs 97 lakh to Rs 2.35 crore.
