The ongoing buzz on the web reveals that Apple is planning to hold a media event soon. According to the latest reports, the event will take place at the end of this month, most probably on March 31, 2020. Apple is expected to release the iPhone SE 2 (also known as iPhone 9) at this event. Last year, Apple held a press event during spring 2019 to unveil new iPad models.

As the event is expected to be held on 31st March 2020, the iPhone SE 2 will go on sale during the same week on Friday i.e April 3rd. The smartphone is expected to be launched among several other products that include an update to the iPad Pro series, a 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Apple UWB AirTags. The brand is also expected to release iOS 13.4 in the same week. This will include new features such as the iCloud Drive folder that shares the new Memoji stickers.

The original iPhone SE was an upgraded version of the iPhone 5S, and now the iPhone SE 2 will be an upgraded version of the iPhone 8. It will keep the iPhone 8’s design that includes the Touch ID sensor while the smartphone is expected to come featured with a 4.7-inch LCD screen, A13 bionic chip and a single rear camera. Mr Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple analyst has revealed that brand is also working on a new wireless charging pad, high-end over-ear Bluetooth headphones, and new MacBooks with scissor-switch keys. All these products are scheduled for release during the first half of this year.
