TVS Motor officially launched the updated BS6-compliant model of the Apache RTR 160 2V back in January 2020 with a starting price tag of INR 93,500 (ex-showroom).
After getting multiple price hikes in recent months, the street bike is now available at INR 1.08 lakhs for the front disc brake variant while the rear disc brake variant is now priced at INR 1.11 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Powering the updated motorcycle is a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is now capable of offering maximum power of 15.5 HP and a peak torque of 13.9 Nm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The power and torque figures have significantly improved for the motorcycle with the addition of a fuel-injected engine that replaces the carburetted engine equipped on its BS4 counterpart. To jog your memory, the BS4-compliant Apache RTR 160 2V was good for 15 HP of power and 13 Nm of maximum torque.
In addition to this, the brand has equipped the BS6-compliant model of the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V with TVS’ Glide Through Technology (GTT) which allows the rider to enjoy a much smoother ride even in harsh traffic conditions. Though the motorcycle has not been imparted with any designing updates, the addition of new graphics further offers it a fresher appeal.
