With the beginning of the Indian festive season, Maruti revealed pricing details for its latest premium offering. Pricing for the entry-level Sigma trim begins at INR 10.45 lakhs and rises to INR 19.49 lakhs for the top-end Alpha + Hybrid trim (ex-showroom).

The Car Show YT Channel Team has created a detailed walk-around video of the Sigma MT trim, capturing all of the SUV's key highlights. The Sigma trim employs a Smart Hybrid powertrain and it is powered by a 1462cc petrol engine. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 103 PS and 136 Nm of peak torque. The Sigma trim comes standard with a 5-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front two wheels.

It has Bi-Halogen projector headlamps, LED Tail Lamps, LED Position Lamps, LED DRLs, body-coloured door handles, body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, a roof-end spoiler, and a shark fin antenna. The model features 17-inch steel rims with wheel covers.

The Sigma trim includes a traditional instrument cluster, a sliding armrest, power windows, an adjustable Tilt and Telescopic steering wheel, a 10.6 cm TFT display, Keyless Entry, Push Button Start-stop, Rear AC Vents, Fully Automatic AC, and a height-adjustable Driver Seat. The Sigma Trim lacks an infotainment system but does have steering-mounted audio controls.

Maruti offers dual front airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), rear parking sensors, Hill Hold Assist, Engine Immobilizer, manually adjustable Day & Night IRVM, ISOFIX Seat mounts, and speed warning buzzers as safety features.

Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, and Toyota HyRyder are Grand Vitara's direct competitors.

Following Maruti's price announcement, the automotive community is waiting for Toyota HyRyder's full price reveal. Toyota has only revealed pricing for four HyRyder trims so far. Current pricing trends indicate that Toyota may end up undercutting Maruti.
