As per the latest details available, it is being said that the new 2022 Baleno’s cabin will be pretty similar in design to the cabin of the new-gen Suzuki S-Cross. The MY2022 S-Cross made its official debut a few weeks ago, and this model has gone through a plethora of tweaks in comparison to the current model. Excitingly, both cars share a lot of elements in terms of interior styling.

According to the sources, the dashboard arrangement of the new Baleno is mostly inspired by the S-Cross. However, the touchscreen display will be slightly different from the latter. Moreover, the instrument cluster, which comprises two analogue dials and a digital multi-information screen, would be identical.

While the Suzuki S-Cross still gets the traditional multi-function steering wheel that is being used in the Vitara Brezza. In the next-gen model, the Baleno is most likely to feature remote keyless entry, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, auto climate control, start/stop push button and a lot of other comfort features.

Speaking of the powertrain, the forthcoming Maruti Suzuki Baleno is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre K12M VVT petrol or a 1.2-litre Dualjet unit with SHVS mild-hybrid tech. Transmission duties will be handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox with the option of a CVT automatic unit.
