The XUV3XO will retain its current engine options, including a 1.5-liter diesel, 1.2-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.2-liter direct injection turbo petrol. However, a new 1.2-liter TGDI petrol engine paired with an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox will be introduced. An electric vehicle (EV) powertrain version is expected to be added to the range later this year to meet the consumer increasing demand for electric cars.
