Mahindra's flagship product, Mojo has finally been launched in 15 more cities. This takes the total count to 19, providing a wide base for the product all across India. It was avialble only in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune earlier while now it includes Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Goa, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Nagpur, Vijaywada and Vishakhapatnam.
The motorcycle is good for extensive touring and the step seems to be taken when Royal Enfield has announced the price of it's flagship tourer, Himalayan. This will surely create a good competition sense while they are quite different when it comes to comparison. Mahindra Mojo is more of a tourer while Himalayan is a pure adventure motorcycle. But still, engine size and price segment would make them rivals for no reason in the Indian market.
The motorcycle comes with a 294.72 cc engine producing 26.82 Bhp @ 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and achieves a top speed of 155 kmph. The 21 liter fuel tank is good for long stretches while 173.5 mm of ground clearance offers mild off-roading as well. It comes with a price of INR 1,63,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
