Moto G5 and G5 Plus were recently unveiled at 2017 Mobile World Congress. The new combo supports unibody metal design, full HD display resolution and water resistant nano-coating. Moto G5 comes with 5 inch touchscreen while the G5 Plus supports a slightly bigger 5.2 inch unit. Both the phones will now run on Android 7.0 out of the box. Here are the technical details for Moto G5 and G5 Plus.
G5 comes with 1.4 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 430 processor that gets an option between 2GB and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB internal memory and standard dual SIM option. The front camera measures 5 MP and uses Omnivision OV5693 sensor while the rear is 13 MP unit with dual tone flash. Moto G5 carries a thickness of 9.5 mm and comes with 2800 mAh battery that supports 10W rapid charging. The prices for the G5 starts at $209 (INR 14,000 approx).

It comes with even wider options like 2GB/3GB of RAM with 32 GB internal storage and even 4GB of RAM with 64 GB of internal storage in select markets. The dual SIM smartphone comes with 12 MP dual pixel autofocus camera with 4K recording for the rear and 5MP camera with Omnivision OV5695 sensor for the front.
The phone offers 3000 mAh battery with turbo charging and even uses fingerprint sensor for enhanced safety. It measures just 7.9 mm in thickness and weighs 155 grams. The prices for G5 Plus starts at $229 (INR 15,260 approx). The price for top spec G5 Plus with 4GB RAM is still not available. The sales will start from March in selected markets.
