KTM 790 Duke was recently spotted testing in Europe, confirming the fact that it will soon enter production and help the brand establish an even stronger image in the middleweight category. The same motorcycle will help them bring Enduro and Adventure version in the coming months. Apart from them, Husqvarna models will also get a more powerful base for the future.
The dual seat, full grip grab-rail and even the use of KTM typical headlight hints that is is nearly ready for mass production. Engine on the motorcycle is internally called LC8c and the last 'c' stands for compact. It will be using 800cc, twin cylinder motor that is expected to break the 100 HP mark by using state of art components and modern technology. The motorcycle will use twin front disc brakes for added safety.
It gets ride by wire, traction control and multiple driving modes for added driving pleasure. 790 Duke is a successor to KTM 690 Duke and would enter global sales in 2018 only. Indian launch plans are still unclear as it may get included in the CBU range of products, rivaling none other than Kawasaki Z900, Yamaha MT-09 and Ducati Monster 821.
