The consolidated net profit for the quarter ending December surged by an impressive 33% on a year-on-year basis, reaching a substantial Rs 3,206.8 crore. This significant growth is attributed to increased operating profit and other income. The total revenue for the quarter stood at a commendable Rs 35,512.8 crore, reflecting a noteworthy 15% year-on-year growth from Rs 29,251.1 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Positive Outlook and Expert Opinion

Raghunandan NL, Director at Nuvama Institutional Equities, expressed optimism regarding Maruti Suzuki's performance, maintaining a "Buy" rating on the stock. He anticipates continued growth in passenger vehicle sales, new product launches in the fiscal year 2025, and margin expansion, all contributing to a robust earnings performance.

Milestone Achievement: Crossing the 2 Million Sales Mark

In a noteworthy achievement, Maruti Suzuki shared that it crossed the annual sales milestone of 2 million units in calendar year 2023, marking the first time the company achieved such a feat.
