Sales Milestone: Hyundai India has definitely grown a lot in the Indian market. By volume and popularity, it holds the number two position after Maruti Suzuki in India. It has recently won the sales match from veteran Honda City and ‘once a hybrid’ Maruti Ciaz. Hyundai Verna is the most powerful petrol option of its segment, providing a huge 1.6L petrol motor through its base variant at INR 7,99,900. The engine is good for 123 HP at 6400 rpm and 151 Nm at 4850 rpm. The engine comes with both manual as well as automatic gearbox option. The diesel engine is even impressive with 128 HP at 4000 rpm and 260 Nm at 1500-3000 rpm.
