Hyundai Set to Launch the Facelifted 2024 Creta on January 16

Hyundai India is gearing up for the launch of the much-anticipated Creta facelift on January 16, 2024. This heavily updated version of the immensely popular SUV is set to bring a fresh design, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, and a brand-new turbo petrol engine. Positioned to compete with rivals such as the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the 2024 Creta facelift aims to redefine the standards in its segment.

2024 Creta Facelift Design

One of the most intriguing aspects of the upcoming Creta facelift for the Indian market is its distinctive design. Unlike the facelift sold in other countries, the Indian version is expected to showcase a unique appearance in line with Hyundai's flagship SUV models. Numerous spy shots from testing sessions reveal significant changes, including a completely redesigned grille, LED lighting at the front and rear, modified front and rear bumpers, and a set of stylish new alloy wheels.

2024 Creta Facelift Interior

Numerous improvements to the interior of the 2024 Creta facelift are expected to improve the driving experience overall. Notable changes include new upholstery, an updated center console, a revamped dashboard, and Level 2 ADAS which introduces an advanced driver aid system. The SUV will also include a cutting-edge 360-degree video system that offers better images for increased security. Expect a revamped version of Hyundai's fully digital driver's display contributing to a more technologically advanced and aesthetically pleasing cabin.

2024 Creta Facelift Engine Options

Under the hood, Hyundai India is likely to retain the current 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engine options. However, a significant addition to the lineup is the introduction of a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This turbocharged powerplant will offer versatility with a choice of transmissions including a six-speed manual or a seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The gearbox options are expected to include a six-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), an automatic torque converter, and a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) providing consumers with a range of options to suit their preferences.

The anticipation surrounding the launch of the 2024 Creta facelift is driven by the promise of a refreshed design, advanced features, and an updated powertrain. Hyundai enthusiasts and SUV enthusiasts alike eagerly await the unveiling of this enhanced iteration which is poised to set new benchmarks in the competitive SUV market in India.
