The Hyundai Creta N Line's exterior design was revealed before its launch on March 11, and interested customers can reserve this SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. Just like other N Line models, the Creta N Line comes with several exterior styling changes compared to the regular Creta SUV. Exterior Design
Compared to the standard Hyundai Creta, the N Line model has a sportier and more aggressive exterior design that makes it stand out. At the front, the most notable change at the front is the redesigned grille, prominently featuring the N Line badge, a new bumper design, and striking red inserts. Despite these changes, the Connected LED DRL strip and LED headlamps retain their position from the regular Creta.
Moving to the side profile, the Creta N Line continues the sporty theme with red inserts on the side skirtings, adding a touch of flair. One of the significant upgrades is the larger N Line-specific 18-inch alloy wheels complemented by red-painted brake calipers enhancing the SUV's visual appeal. In contrast, the standard Creta comes equipped with smaller 17-inch alloy wheels, even in its top variant.
At the rear, while the changes are more subtle compared to the front, they still contribute to the sporty demeanor of the N Line variant. These include a sportier roof-integrated spoiler, dual-tip exhaust, N Line badging on the tailgate, and a modified bumper design. Additionally, the N Line's rear bumper integrates an all-black skid plate, distinguishing it from the regular version of the Creta.
Interior Features
While official images of the interior are yet to be revealed, Hyundai has disclosed that the Creta N Line will feature an all-black interior with red cross stitching, enhancing the sporty ambiance of the cabin. In contrast, the standard Creta offers lighter cabin themes providing a more traditional aesthetic.
Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta N Line packs a punch with its 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine, delivering robust performance with 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque. Its availability of both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) automatic transmission distinguishes it. This allows drivers to select the type of driving experience that suits them best. In comparison, the regular Creta with the same engine is limited to the 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
Expected Price & Competition
As for pricing, the Hyundai Creta N Line is expected to start from Rs 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as a premium offering within the Creta lineup. In terms of competition, it will directly rival the Kia Seltos' GTX Plus and X-Line trims, offering buyers an alternative with its distinct styling and performance attributes. Additionally, it will also compete with the Volkswagen Taigun GT and Skoda Kushaq in the fiercely contested mid-size SUV segment.
