Hyundai India has introduced the Creta N Line in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 16.82 lakh (ex-showroom). This sportier iteration of the popular compact SUV is available in two main variants: N8 and N10, both powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The N Line variant of the Creta has been improved mechanically and aesthetically to improve its driving performance and sporting appeal. It also offers a manual transmission option, which is not available in the standard Creta with the turbo-petrol engine.

The Creta N Line features several design modifications to distinguish it from the regular model. The front grille and bumper have been revised with a more aggressive look and red accents. The SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, and red highlights can also be found on the brake calipers and door sills. The rear maintains the LED tail lamps and adds a revised bumper with dual exhaust tips.

Inside, the Creta N Line sports a black dashboard with red highlights and stitching, enhancing the sporty vibe. The ambient lighting is red, and there are N Line-specific elements like the steering wheel, gear knob, and seat covers with 'N' branding.

The Creta N Line is well-equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch digital driver's display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car technology, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a Bose sound system.

Safety features in the Creta N Line include six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).

Engine and Performance

The SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. It is available with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and for the first time in the Creta lineup, a 6-speed manual gearbox is offered in the N Line variant. For an improved driving experience the car also has a throatier exhaust note, a faster steering rack, and a stronger suspension configuration.

Rivals

Competing with the Kia Seltos GT Line and VW Taigun GT, the Hyundai Creta N Line also serves as a sporty alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, and Skoda Kushaq in the market.
