Honda CBR250RR was recently launched in Malaysia for RM 21,940 (INR 3.25 lakh). The motorcycle is available in both non-ABS and ABS trim, carrying a minimal price difference in price (ABS version is pried @ RM 22,258). CBR250RR was patented in India few days back but has no official word regarding its launch from HMSI. It is the most powerful twin cylinder quarter liter motorcycle on offer worldwide, carrying equally stunning design and high aerodynamic standards. It can actually be called a lightweight SuperSport category motorcycle for sure.

Honda CBR250RR is powered by a 249.7 cc, parallel twin 8-valve engine that is good for 38.2 BHP at 12500 rpm and 23.3 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while Honda offers throttle by wire system with accelerator position sensor for the best power delivery. CBR250RR redlines at 14,000 rpm while weighs just 165 kg in race ready condition. The fuel tank is quite practical at 14.5 liters while lower seat height of 790 mm further makes the motorcycle an easy option for those with less than average built. Honda-CBR250RR-4 Honda CBR250RR measures 2060 mm in length and carries a wheelbase of 1389 mm. Honda claims a top speed of 179 kmph for their lightweight racer while availability of premium components like front USD forks, aluminum rear swing-arm, 310 mm front disc and 17 inch lightweight alloy wheels makes it even more special than ever. Honda even offers twin front LED headlights with separate daytime running lights. If launched in India in the coming months, Honda CBR250RR could be placed around INR 3.50 lakh and may reach here through the CKD route.
