Hero MotoCorp is currently India's best-selling motorcycle brand. Hero's sales are being driven by the ever-popular Splendor series of commuter motorcycles.

The Splendor brand is a force to be reckoned with, with sales increasing almost every month. Hero developed the Super Splendor 125 to incorporate a 125cc engine into its popular Splendor line. As seen in our top ten motorcycles post, this formula has increased Splendor series sales even further.

The Super Splendor has a 125cc engine, the Splendor Plus has a 100cc engine, and the Splendor iSmart 110 has a 110cc engine, establishing a clear distinction between the three. However, the Splendor series' flagship recently received a new variant.

The largest motorcycle manufacturer in India recently launched a new variant of the Super Splendor 125. Super Splendor was previously available in five different colour shades. Glaze Black, Dusky Black, Nexus Blue, Heavy Grey, and CB Red were the colours.

However, neither of the previous black shades was monotone black. They had a lot of graphics and accent colours. As we all know, Hero relies far too heavily on graphics to spruce up their products, but they always overdo it.

Hero Super Splendor, on the other hand, receives a Canvas Black shade that is devoid of any graphics and appears extremely clean. The Hero appears to have taken the same path as the Splendor 125cc New Black.

Without any graphics, the new All-Black shade looks super clean. The Super Splendor 3D badge on the fuel tank and the Hero badge on the side body panels are the only things that break up the black monotony.

Hero launched the Super Splendor Canvas Black edition with two variant options: one with a drum brake at the front and the other one with a disc brake at the front.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the drum variant is offered at an ex-showroom price of Rs 78,148, while the more-premium disc variant is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 81,818.
