Hero MotoCorp has revealed an exciting new idea called the Surge S32 and this is a special kind of two-wheeler that can change into a three-wheeler. It was shown off at the Hero World event in 2024.
Providing more options to consumers is the goal of this concept and the Surge S32 is meant for both personal use and for business. Hero MotoCorp thinks many people in India could find this useful especially small business owners.
The cool thing about the Surge S32 is how quickly it can change. In just three minutes it can switch from being a scooter to a three-wheeled vehicle. To do this, the owner just needs to connect a special plug. Once connected, they can control the three-wheeler using the handlebar of the scooter. Even though both models have their engines and batteries they can be controlled using the same set of controls.
Right now, the Surge S32 is just an idea. But if it makes sense in the future Hero MotoCorp might start making it for real. They have even worked with the government to create a new category of vehicles called L2-5 and this shows they are serious about bringing the Surge to the market.
It's hard to say how much the Surge S32 will cost because it is so new. However, Hero MotoCorp usually tries to keep prices affordable so hopefully, it will be within reach for many people.
