New Ford Figo Launched in India @ INR 4.29 Lakh

Ford has launched the new 'Figo' in India on Wednesday in both petrol and diesel variants. The company's highly anticipated new hatchback made its debut in India with a price tag starting at INR 4.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It has been offered in 3 engine options along with 7 trims. The buyer can get Ford Figo in 7 different color options i.e. Oxford White, Ignot Silver, Ruby Red, Tuxedo Black, Smoke Grey, Deep Impact Blue and Sparkling Gold. The 2016 Figo has borrowed most of its design elements, features and engine options from the Figo Aspire and looks more attractive and upmarket than the previous one. The 3-spoke steering wheel with silver accents, a 4.2-inch SYNC multimedia infotainment system and steering mounted controls are the common features shared by this hatchback with Aspire. Its base variant has a driver airbag whereas the other variants are being offered with dual front airbags. As far as top-end Titanium+ trim is concerned it has 6 airbags which is one of the remarkable features of this hatchback. It is available with 3 engine options. This new Figo shares its engine and transmission line-up with the Aspire. The diesel versions has a 1.5-litre TDCi unit (99bhp) paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas petrol engines has two choices - a 1.2-litre TiVCT (87bhp) with a 5-speed manual and a 1.5-litre TiVCT (110bhp) with a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The new Ford Figo measures 3886mm in length, 1695mm in width, 1525mm in height and 2491mm in wheelbase. It has a boot space of 257 litres and ground clearance of 174mm. It can give tough competition to 'Hyundai Grand i10' and 'Maruti Swift'. There are 20 storage spaces available. It also has Ford's Emergency assist. New Ford Figo Prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) Petrol:
