In India, Ducati has introduced the Multistrada V4 Rally. There are two paint schemes available for the bike: the red one costs Rs 29.72 lakh, while the black one is priced at Rs 26.73 lakh. The ADV model with the greatest emphasis on off-roading is the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally design
Similar to the ordinary Multistrada V4, the Rally edition model has a high-mounted exhaust, split seating, a front fender in the beak design, semi-fairing, and twin-pod headlights. However, stronger engine guards and spoke rims that are suitable with tubeless tires are standard on the Rally variant. Along with having a bigger gasoline tank—30 liters as opposed to the normal Multistrada's 22.5—it also has a longer range than the base model. The extended rear area of the Ducati has also added more space for passengers. To lessen vibrations, the foot pegs also have thick rubber inserts inserted. In order to facilitate side case loading and unloading as well as maintenance, a center stand is also incorporated as standard. Two colors of the bike are available: Red Ducati and Brushed Aluminum with Matte Black.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally chassis
The chassis of the Multistrada V4 Rally is the same as that of the basic motorcycle, featuring an aluminum frame and a double-sided aluminum swingarm. The bike, on the other hand, now sports revised tubeless spoke rims that are lighter and boost overall agility. Ducati raised the suspension travel of the Multistrada V4 Rally to 200mm in both the front and back, surpassing the Multistrada V4 S's 170mm front and 180mm rear suspension travel. The motorcycle now features a larger metal sump guard which better protects the bike's underside. To accommodate varying rider sizes, Ducati offers a variety of seat and suspension choices for the Multistrada V4 Rally, including an adjustable seat height range of 805mm to 905mm. Furthermore, the off-road power mode, which limits power to 113bhp, improves the bike's off-road handling, which is very important for this 260kg bike when venturing off the pavement.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally powertrain
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is powered by an 1158 cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 167bhp at 10750 rpm and 121Nm at 8,750 rpm. Notably, the formerly stationary-only cylinder deactivation technology can now deactivate and reactivate the rear cylinder bank while in motion, resulting in increased fuel efficiency and reduced heat exposure for the rider.
Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally safety and features
To improve rider safety during lengthy journeys, the Multistrada V4 Rally has a front and rear radar system that allows adaptive cruise control and blind spot recognition. The 6.5-inch TFT color dashboard features map navigation via the Ducati Connect program, as well as phone and music management via compatible intercom-equipped helmets. The bike also includes safety features such as ABS cornering, cornering lights, wheelie control, and traction control which adjusts based on the lean and pitch angles of the bike via the inertial platform (IMU).

The red Multistrada V4 Rally is priced at Rs 29.72 lakh, while the black model is priced at Rs 30.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Notably, these prices are significantly higher than the Multistrada V4 S, which costs Rs 26.73 lakh. Despite being more expensive, the Rally contains numerous features that are only available as options on the basic Multistrada.
