C-segment sedans are popular for their value for money approach and Vento is no other with excellent mileage and decent maintenance for a car of its size. 16-inch Portage alloy wheels, black roof, carbon fiber finish ORVM and black rear lip spoiler adds sporty feel to the car and differentiates the same from standard variant with no such addition.
The variant seen here comes with LED front headlights, hinting that the Sport Edition will be based on none other than Highline Plus grade. Both fenders are available with Sport badge for easy identification. No changes were seen on the car’s interior.
Leather wrapped steering wheel, electrically fold-able ORVM, reverse parking camera, touchscreen infotainment system, LED lights and much more are offered on top spec Volkswagen Vento. The car offers ESP, six airbags and ABS on Sport Edition. Vento is powered by three different engines and two effective gearboxes.
The most powerful of all is 1.5L, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 110 PS at 4000 rpm and 250 Nm at 1500-3000 rpm. This engine is even more frugal with a 5-speed manual gearbox, returning 22.27 kmpl of mileage for a car of this size.
Another powerful motor with 105 PS and 175 Nm can be bought in the 1.2L, turbo petrol variant. This engine is good for 18.19 kmpl of mileage and comes with just 7-speed DSG.
