The last-generation Toyota Fortuner still has a large fan following in India, clearly seen with most owners keeping their cars in the best possible condition and getting high resale value after using for a certain period. MotorMind has worked on one such neat example, creating such an impressive Fortuner that the owner will never think of swapping this one with any other SUV. The differences seen in before and after video are simply amazing, upgrading the front bumper, dominating grille and headlights with their custom fabricated parts. The center grille now comes with integrated LED lights and MotorMind moniker in the middle. Article image The headlights stay similar in design but, features redesigned LED pattern and LED turn indicators. The tail section now features split LED lights, LED blinkers and dual exhaust pipes (the left one for visual enhancement only). On the outside, one gets a faux carbon fiber finish, redesigned rear bumper and LED warning lights. The most amazing part of this modification is seen on the interior section, completely revamped to achieve the star roof lights that are controlled through a dedicated tablet. The uneven division of LED lights can change color warmth with a single click, further offering a variety of shades through the tablet controller. Article image Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo was available with a 2982cc, four-cylinder diesel engine, producing 168.5bhp at 3600 rpm and 343 Nm at 1400-3400 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Buyers had an option to consider 4x4 or automatic transmission option over the engine choice on regular variants. Fortuner came with a very basic dashboard layout, revamped completely through the present generation model with leather finish on most components. The present generation car is available with a smaller 2.8L engine, producing more power than the older engine. Even the maximum torque available now is 450Nm.
