New Tata Safari India Launch Date Officially Announced: Tata Motor has recently announced that its 2021 Safari will be launched in India on February 22, and the company has also commenced the pre-bookings for its new SUV.
The bookings for the 2021 Safari can be made at your nearest authorized Tata dealership while the customers can also book the car online at the official website of the brand for which the token amount has been set at INR 30,000, which is fully refundable.
The test drives for the 2021 Safari have commenced and the car is now also on display across the Tata Motor dealerships. The all-new model was unveiled by the company back on January 26 this year.

The 2021 Tata Safari is based on the OMEGA Architecture that can be seen in Tata Harrier as well. Both the SUVs are powered by the Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that gives a max output of 170PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox is installed as a standard option while the buyers also have an option for a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The 2021 Tata Safari will feature 3 distinct drive modes: Eco, Sport, and City, along with 3 drive terrain modes: Normal, Wet, and Rough. The SUV is available in 6 trims: XE, XM XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. The most prominent features of the upcoming model include LED tail lamps, dual-function LED DRLs with turn indicators, xenon HID projector headlamps, front fog lamps with cornering function, a panoramic sunroof, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a six-way powered driver seat.
The interior specs of the Safari include a floating island 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, 9 JBL speakers with amplifier, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, fully-automatic temperature control, six airbags, iRA connected car technology. To give a premium feel to the cabin, the 2021 Tata Safari features a signature oyster white interior theme coupled with an ash wood dashboard. The expected price range for the new Safari is between INR 15 lakhs to INR 22 lakhs (ex-showroom).
