The customers can pre-book the XL6 with a token amount of INR 11,000. The brand will be launching the MPV in two variants with a manual or automatic gearbox as an option. Article image Powering the Maruti Suzuki XL6 crossover is the brand’s latest BS-VI K15 Smart Hybrid 1.5 litre petrol engine. The engine will be capable of offering maximum power of 105 HP at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and will also come with an option of a 4-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. The brand will not be offering any diesel variant of their crossover MPV XL6. Article image Coming to the design, the XL6 features a trapezoidal grille at the front that has been mated with a chrome bar adjoining at the centre. The MPV gets a raised height when compared to the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga while features body cladding on the side and front panels. The MPV measures 4,445mm in length, 1,775mm in width and 1,700mm in height. The tail lamp and the tailgate of the XL6 remain identical to the Ertiga. Article image In terms of interior, the Maruti XL6 will be equipped with all-black interiors while it gets silver inserts on the dashboard. The 6-seat layout for the upcoming car has been achieved via captain seats in the second row. The price tags for the Maruti Suzuki XL6 will be revealed at the time of the official launch.
