New Mahindra Thar Dress Kit Revealed by DC Design: The all-new model of Mahindra Thar has proved to be a very successful product for the brand as the SUV has been able to register 15,000+ bookings in just 18 days. The 2021 Thar was launched in the Indian markets back on October 2, 2020, with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 9.80 lakhs. DC2, popularly known as DC Design, has recently unveiled a Dress Kit for the New Mahindra Thar while the official launch of the same is expected to happen very soon. It is basically a bolt-on custom body-kit to offer a unique look to the new Thar though we feel that DC2 has gone over the top and the end result is not very appealing. Nevertheless, coming to key highlights, the custom body-kit includes an all-new front fascia featuring an updated seven-slat front grille, a custom bumper, and a set of new slimmer all-LED headlights. DC2 has also updated the bonnet of New Mahindra Thar to offer a muscular outlook. The SUV further features wider wheel arches to accommodate the huge off-road spec tyres, which have been further mated to shiny steel wheels. It seems like DC2 has also updated the suspension in a bid to accommodate the new wheels, while also increasing the ground clearance. In addition to the changes mentioned above, the New Mahindra Thar Dress Kit by DC2 also includes a new rear bumper, new squared-out taillights, along with a redesigned hardtop. As per the details available, the modifier has also upgraded the interior of the SUV but DC2 is yet to reveal the photos of the same. There is no official word on the pricing yet, though one can expect the New Mahindra Thar Dress Kit to get a price tag of around INR 6-7 lakhs, excluding the taxes. DC2 is expected to launch the custom body-kit in the second week of November 2020.
