Jeep has launched the Compass Limited Plus variants starting from a price of INR 21.07 lakh (ex showroom Delhi). All the variants in the Limited Plus lineup are based on their counterparts from the Limited (O) lineup.
The Limited Plus variants get a new 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Uconnect along with power adjustable driver and front passenger seats. There are be dual front airbags, along with curtain and all-row full length side airbags, which are offered as standard on the Limited Plus variant. Another convenience feature which is offered as standard on the new Limited Plus variants is the rain-sensing wipers.
There are new alloy wheels along with electrochromic auto dimming inside rear view mirror and automatic headlamps on the limited plus models of the Jeep Compass. The alloy wheels look quite similar to the Compass Trailhawk and the added dual-pane panoramic sunroof adds to the sportiness of the Compass. The addition of the airbags makes the Limited Plus models of the Compass safer than the other lower trims which have only dual front airbags.
Like the other variants, the Jeep Compass Limited+ is also available in diesel as well as petrol engines. The petrol engine is a 1.4-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged motor that produces maximum power of 160 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. On the other hand, the diesel engine is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged motor, capable of producing a maximum power of 173 hp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. Like the Limited variant, the Limited Plus variant of the Jeep Compass is being offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox on the diesel model, and the petrol variant is available with a 7-speed automatic transmission
