Jeep celebrates 4x4 day on April 4 (4/4) every year. This year, the day became even more special for upcoming Jeep owners. Those going for a Jeep Compass this year can opt for an almost complimentary upgrade (INR 50,000 only) from Limited 4x2 to Limited 4x4 variant. As they offer 4x4 only on the diesel variant of Compass, buyers who were spending INR 19,21,100 on Limited 4x2 can avail total benefits of INR 1,46,900.
If you have already booked the Limited 4x2 (O) variant, the upgrade will bring benefits of INR 1,50,000 through paying just INR 50,000 more on their selected variant. Jeep Compass range starts from INR 15,16,000 and goes up to INR 21,91,800. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom Delhi.

The 4x4 offer can actually be availed on any possible model as one has to pay the price difference between the booked model and Limited 4x2 trim. Going for the optional model will also demand the INR 71,700 of price difference between standard top spec and optional top spec model.
For example, a buyer with booking of Compass Longitude (INR 17,51,600) will need to pay INR 1,69,400 (trim price difference) plus extra INR 50,000 (which would have been INR 1,96,900 without this offer). This means you can upgrade to the 4x4 variant for just INR 2,19,400 on Jeep 4x4 day.
On any other day, this would have resulted in INR 3,66,300 of budget hike on your side. Jeep offer the petrol variant with 7-speed automatic gearbox but one cannot have 4x4 option on this typical engine. Compass diesel is powered by a 2.0L, four cylinder engine producing 173 HP at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm. Jeep claims 17.1 kmpl of mileage for Compass 4x2 while 4x4 returns 16.3 kmpl of mileage figure.
