Jaguar F-Type Ingenium Launched in India: F-Type is a dream race machine for millions of Indian car lovers. The Tata Motors-owned British marque has launched a watered down version of their product, leaving everybody stunned with an unbelievable price tag.
Jaguar F-Type 2.0L is now available at INR 90.93 lakh, getting itself priced even below the flagship XJ-L saloon in the company lineup. The engine belongs to Ingenium series, producing 300 HP and 400 Nm. The values are mouth-watering for a 2.0L petrol engine, offering the F-Type a 0-100 kph sprint time of 5.7 seconds. The car uses an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and top speed is electronically limited to 250 kph.

The smaller engine makes F-Type lighter by 52 kg from the V6 version, leaving the driver with enhanced steering response, lighter front end and added ride comfort. They have even tuned the chassis for a sportier drive experience.
The F-Type earlier commanded a price tag of INR 2.65 Crore while this time, getting one with Ingenium engine requires just INR 90.93 lakh for Coupe and INR 1.01 Crore for the Convertible version. The lower price makes F-Type 2.0, a straight rival to Porsche Cayman and Boxster in India (INR 81.63 lakh and INR 85.53 lakh respectively).
