2018 Ford Ranger has been unveiled for selected markets. The update is actually a face-lift and will be forwarded to the New Endeavour. Yes, you heard it right as Ford Endeavour shares its underpinnings with Ranger and thus, both follow this same design language throughout the world. Apart from off-road specific design language, the new version comes with smoked headlights, highlighted daytime running lights and bolder than ever grill with Ford moniker and dark chrome finish. Rear half of its bumper is now Black and flaunts large under-body protector in brushed silver shade. Design lines all over the body remains almost the same. Still, the changes will soon become visible for the new Endeavour as they will place it as a better alternative to Toyota Fortuner in terms of off-road ride and appeal. India spec car now comes with a city friendly front fascia, using perfectly flowing bumper design and least highlighted wheel arches. Ranger is a five seat variant and carries a huge deck behind while new Endeavour will keep its seven seat layout intact for India. No changes are expected to be seen inside the cabin as it seems perfectly wrapped on the India spec car. Ford US offers the Ranger with 2.3L EcoBoost engine that comes with 10-speed automatic gearbox. This engine performs like a V6 but fuel consumption is near to a 4-cylinder engine. New Endeavour will retain the same 2.2L and 3.2L engine options in India.
