The clean departure from squarish decade old truck design is highly visible here. The fixed parts are made from steel while movable parts like doors, hood and tailgate are made from aluminum.

The new frame underpinning the Silverado will allow rear seat passengers to have 75mm of more legroom and thus, helping them achieve the most relaxed passenger experience. They wish to bring them the most effective interior among all full sized trucks.
High strength steel accounts to 80% of the new frame and that results in 40 kg of weight loss from the non-visible portion. For the international market, 2019 Chevrolet Silverado will feature eight different size combinations, including the recently shown LT TrailBoss with 275/65-R18 tyres and 2 inch suspension lift than the standard model.
Buyers will get different alterations in the form of RST, LTZ and High Country trims, all of the them offering different combinations of sport and luxury. LT TrailBoss is an off-road variant while Work Truck, LT and Custom will occupy the lower side of trim management.
2019 Silverado will come equipped with 5.3L and 6.2L V8 petrol engine options. Both the models will get dynamic fuel management, resulting in cylinder shutdown between 1 to 7 at any required time. The diesel power on offer includes 3.0L I6 engine, that too with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
As the suspension components are lighter by 12 kg, weight saving seems visible on almost every functional component of 2019 Chevrolet Silverado. Cargo boxes are lockable in some variants while power operated tailgate will also be available as standard across all Silverado models.
