Bugatti Divo has been teased ahead of its official launch on August 24, 2018. The limited run supercar from Bugatti is named after Albert Divo and will be limited to just 40 units. A price tag of 5 million euros (INR 40.10 Crore approx, without import duties) will be charged for each unit.
Bugatti, as always, will offer personal customizations for an extra amount. Albert Divo was a French race driver who won Targa Florio race twice in 1920’s. Official unveiling for Bugatti Divo will take place in California at a popular motor-sports gathering named The Quail.
The upcoming car is expected to be based on Bugatti Chiron but, the brand has officially missed any mention for their popular hypercar. Divo will be lighter in comparison to Chiron Sport, making it the most powerful option that Bugatti has ever produced since its hypercar entry.

Some reports also hint that Divo will feature a different, yet strong design language, offering more downforce than ever. The handling department will gain from this addition as aerodynamic properties will reach an all-time high for Bugatti cars through Divo. Bugatti chief has cleared the fact that Divo exists because the brand and owners wished for a corner-carving machine.
Bugatti Divo will bring happiness to all those who wished their Chiron to perform with added agility around the track corners. The car is expected to use the same 8.0L, W16 engine producing 1500 HP and 1600 Nm as the Chiron.
These values make their present-day hypercar good for 420 kph of top speed and 0-100 kph in under 2.5 seconds. Divo will flaunt even better performance numbers as losing weight and adding aerodynamic properties into a car makes it quicker in a straight line and agile around the corners. The price tag mentioned for Divo will double itself for India.
