Yamaha RX 135 Tarak by Hindustan Customs: Yamaha RX 135 is a popular vintage motorcycle for its lightweight performance and class leading speed. Owners have kept these machines in their best possible conditions as they defy performance rules that are followed by present day four stroke machines. This typical Yamaha RX 135 ‘Tarak’ by Hindustan Customs is altogether a different story as the owner has not just restored this machine but also got in some visual upgrades for enhanced road presence. Tarak is finished in silver shade and highlights include leather wrapped single seat on a chopped frame. Front also gets weight reduction through a almost negligible fender. Stock exhaust has also been replaced with this custom unit while instrument console on use here is also aftermarket. They are using clip on handlebars for better sitting position and overall motorcycle control. RX 135 is powered by a 132cc, single cylinder engine producing 14 BHP and 12.25 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox on this model while some buyers also have RX 135 with a 5-speed gearbox. Claimed top speed for the motorcycle is well above 100 kmph.

Hindustan Customs is a very small, team that puts their heart and soul in the motorcycles. They are based in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The owner Animesh Sharan, left his job in the United States for his passion for motorcycles and followed his calling. The day after he landed home, he bought a bike for his project and started working on it and Tarak is the result of their 2 months of hard work. This is what they have to say about their latest creation: "With the upcoming market and latest bikes in the market, the older ones are fading away. These are the bikes of the 90's, the super star of every college going student in that era. This is Yamaha RX-135 by Hindustan Customs: TARAK. "Tarak: the one who takes you across, the star protector" is an attempt to bring back the old classic bike back to it's glory. The bike has been upgraded with all-new electronics and LED headlights and taillights. Their has been many hand made custom work on the bike like: leather works, hand made seat, smaller chassis, headlight bracket, custom silencer, custom made led lights, etc." Article imageArticle imageArticle image
