The 2019 Yamaha FZS V3 will be launching in the Indian market on January 21 in multiple colour options including a new all-black edition. The upcoming motorcycle has been spotted undisguised at a dealership. The all-black colour looks much better in comparison to the rest of the shades which were spotted earlier this week. The motorcycle will be getting a host of cosmetic changes in addition to the mechanical upgrades. The bike will be launched in two variants: FZ Fi V3 and the FZS Fi V3. The new design has been incorporated with an all-new LED headlamp and a tweaked tail design. It gets a refurbished fuel tank that exhibits enlarged shrouds with chrome inserts. The Yamaha FZS V3 gets an FZ25 inspired all-digital instrument console as well as a tyre hugger. The motorcycle is equipped with conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear gets a monoshock absorber. Yamaha FZS V3 is expected to be powered by the same 149cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine capable of generating maximum power of 13.2 HP and an utmost torque of 12.8 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Yamaha might increase the power and torque figures to compete with the powerful rivals like TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Suzuki Gixxer 155, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160. The new model of Yamaha FZS is expected to be priced around INR 95,000 (ex-showroom) with ABS. Spy Image Source: Rushlane
