The red Yamaha MT-15 doing rounds on the internet is actually a dealer-level paint job that costs INR 3000 over the standard price tag of the motorcycle. Along with the red colour option, buyers can also choose between White and Racing Blue colours if dark-themed stock shades are not as per their preferences. The dealership is named Yamaha Bikerz and falls within the Chennai region (Alandur). The new colours you see here are not a part of the official shades offered by Yamaha Motor India, and we must make it clear that these three dealer-level colours are similar to the options that were created by Perfect Riders (Yamaha dealership) and can be registered in the custom shade after making a purchase. Article image The white and blue shades are available with matching lower headlight panel with the custom body colour. The Racing Blue shade is totally inspired by the Yamaha R15 V3 while White and Red were only available on the last generation R15. The red Yamaha MT-15 is available with matt black panels all around the body, creating a premium motorcycle effect through this simple yet elegant shade selection. Yamaha MT-15 is officially available in only 2 colours in India, Metallic Black and Dark Matt Blue. The 155.1cc, single cylinder engine is shared with the mighty R15 V3, producing 19.3 HP at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm at 8500 rpm. At present, the MT-15 carries an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.36 lakh.
