Meet Yamaha YZF-R3 Tron Edition by A-Wraps (Chennai)

Yamaha YZF-R3 with Tron Wrap is nothing less than a dream come true for every rider with a desire to upgrade from an existing single-cylinder motorcycle. A-Wraps has skillfully wrapped the R3 sports bike in matt black shade which features Tron lines running throughout the body for a marvellous look.

Yamaha R3 is already an amazing motorcycle, but the use of blue lines on an all-black colour scheme helps it take the mean machine look to the next level. This typical YZF-R3 is also equipped with an aftermarket exhaust system for added aural pleasure.

The Tron lines are reflective in character, offering this customized R3 a unique look when light is thrown on the bike from any side. In bright daylight, the blue lines define the muscular styling and perfectly flaunt every possible curve on the body. The exhaust canister and instrument console are two specific places where Tron lines look super cool for sure. The front end of this typical Yamaha YZF-R3 also features a Batman logo.

Mechanically, the Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 42 HP of maximum power and 29.6 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Yamaha R3 was pulled off from the official website in 2017 as it was brought to India as a CKD unit and was compliant with BS3 emission norms only. Yamaha relaunched the R3 in India with a BS4 engine at the Auto Expo in February 2018 for INR 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom). It was available with 2-channel ABS and Metzeler tires as standard.

After the implementation of BS6 emission norms, Yamaha has discontinued the R3 in India again. Before being discontinued, the sports bike was available for INR 3.52 lakh (ex-showroom India). It is expected that Yamaha will launch the BS6 model of YZF-R3 in India in 2022.
