Yamaha R15 Version 3 Launched in India: R15 V3 has been finally launched in India at INR 1.25 lakh at Auto Expo 2018. The price is ex-showroom and does not include any sort of added fee like registration or insurance. As seen earlier, it carries the same design as Indonesian spec model and replace both expensive tyres and USD forks with MRF sourced Zappers and conventional telescopic forks in India. This was done in order to keep cost under check.

The engine powering R15 Version 3.0 is 155.1cc, single cylinder unit producing 19.31 PS at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm at 8500 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed unit with slipper clutch. The bike weighs 137 kg and carries 11 liters of fuel tank capacity. The motorcycle now comes with all digital console, LED headlights and all new design language. It can be bought in Racing Blue and Thunder Grey shade.
