TVS Apache RR 310 registered a 79% drop in sales in April 2019, posting just 183 units. The model was good for 862 units in April 2018, clearly showing the lack of interest that buyers have in the full-faired model. The initial hype helped TVS post decent numbers in the early months of introduction while later, the number never went above a fraction of what the brand expected from the model. TVS Apache RR 310 was always imagined as an impressive full-faired machine with pricing to fall under INR 2 lakh but in reality, the motorcycle is priced at INR 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

When equating the on-road pricing, the Apache RR 310 crosses INR 2.70 lakh and enters a league not so familiar to TVS brand name. Also, the upcoming update that will add more equipment to the machine could have resulted in a slowdown of buyer's entry into the segment in April 2019.
Bajaj has also updated their Dominar 400 with USD forks and other features, pushing more power into their machine with a price tag of INR 1.74 lakh. Apart from that, adding a little more money into the RR 310 package can bring the mighty KTM RC 390 to the buyers. TVS is also expected to add more shades to the RR lineup through the update coming on May 28 (Know More).
