Top 10 Best-Selling 2-Wheelers in India (June 2017)

Honda Activa still remains on top of the list for June 2017 two wheeler sales in India. Although it has seen a big drop from its very own highest sales figure, Hero Splendor is still seen struggling to claim back the first position. Activa sold a total of 2,34,767 units while Splendor claims 2,19,103 units in June 2017. Hero HF Deluxe follows the same path as Splendor and claims 1,54,655 units for third position. Surprisingly, Hero Glamour is the most selling 125cc motorcycle in India with 78,889 units for the same month. Honda Shine sold 69,108 units and lost the throne to Hero Glamour in June 2017. This makes Hero and Honda good for first six positions and maximum sales number out of the Indian market. TVS XL Super sold 65,302 units while Jupiter claimed 60,570 units in June 2017. These were the only two TVS products to enter the top selling list. Royal Enfield Classic 350 got 42,419 owners within the same period. The tenth position goes to Hero Maestro with 38,822 units on the charts. The biggest surprise was the omission of Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache series from the top 10 list. They may have lost a considerable chunk during the confusion of GST slabs that prevailed last month. Out of these 10, half of the positions went into Hero's lineup.
