Royal Enfield has made its entry in South Korea in collaboration with Vintage Motors (Kiheung International) as its official distributor partner in the country. The brand has set up its first showroom in Seoul. Royal Enfield plans to expand its global mid-sized motorcycle segment (250cc-750cc). The company will sell 4 motorcycles in South Korea, the Bullet 500, Classic 500, Classic 500 chrome and the Himalayan adventure motorcycle. The bikes will be exported to South Korea from India, and the brand will offer full-fledged sales, after sales service, and spares in Seoul.

On the launch of the store, Vimal Sumbly, APAC Business Head, said that their focus is to sustain and expand growth in the Asia Pacific region. Korea is an important chapter in the growth story and hence they are thrilled to commence business there. The CEO of Kiheung Motors, Pablo Lee Jr. said that they are honoured to have Royal Enfield as their partners as now Royal Enfield motorcycles will offer Korean riders an opportunity to upgrade to a robust, long-distance, and leisure riding culture with its modern-classic machines, that are excellent choice for long rides on the highway as well as are perfect to commute in heavy traffic in the city.
