Royal Enfield vs Jawa Motorcycles [Latest Sales Report]: According to the latest 2-wheeler sales data revealed by FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India), Royal Enfield has proved itself to be the market leader once again (in cruiser segment) by beating Jawa by a huge margin. As per the sales report for August 2020, Royal Enfield sold 35,105 motorcycles while Jawa was able to register a sales number of just 1,353 units last month.

Judging from these sales numbers, Jawa won’t be able to surpass Royal Enfield’s monthly sales number anytime soon. In comparison to Jawa, Royal Enfield has a huge range of products which are available from a wide network of sales outlets. The reason RE has a monopoly in the Indian market and moreover, the Chennai-based brand has a lower starting price range in comparison to Jawa motorcycles. In one of the recent updates, Classic Legends has officially revealed the technical specifications of the BS6-compliant Jawa Classic 300 and the Jawa Forty-Two. The updated models are powered by the same 293cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC engine which now generates 26.51 PS of maximum power and 27.05 Nm of peak torque. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Jawa has also started deliveries of Perak across the country while one of the customers recently got his bike modified and it is India's first Perak to feature a pillion seat.
