KTM RC 200 Removed from Official Website in India: The biggest surprise today came from KTM India as their popular and effectively one of the most-selling products, RC 200, went away from the official website. Left behind were just two straight guesses and both of them are pretty interesting for KTM lovers in India. First and most probably, KTM India is ready to introduce the 2018 variant of RC 200 with a new shade and for that, they took off the popular SuperSport bike away from the website. Second assumption hints at the arrival of more powerful KTM RC 250 with ABS in India, making it rival none other than Apache RR 310 at a better price. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="520"]KTM RC 200 Removed from Official Website KTM RC 200 Removed from Official Website[/caption] As KTM 390 Duke and RC 390 are priced with a gap of INR 3210 (approx.), KTM could choose the same gap and add ABS to the racer in order to place it around INR 1.90-2.00 lakh. This will give tough time for Apache RR 310 to survive as RC 250 will save them a lot f money by offering almost the same level of performance. The present range of KTM bikes starts just a few hundred rupees under INR 1.50 lakh and almost touches INR 2.40 lakh for the flagship KTM 390 Duke. The price for last generation KTM 390 Duke was just INR 1.95 lakh while new price saw an increase of almost INR 45,000. [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="520"]KTM RC 250 KTM Might Replace RC 200 with RC 250 in India[/caption] KTM is the only manufacturer to offer ride by wire in this segment as this technology can help them add features like traction control and riding modes in the future variants. KTM RC 200 is powered by a 199.5cc, single cylinder engine producing 25 HP and 19.2 NM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. International website of KTM shows an all new shade that looks similar to the first generation RC 390. It could be the next big thing if KTM plans to avoid RC 250 this year.
