One of the most anticipated motorcycles, the KTM 250 Adventure has been spotted testing on the Indian roads for the first time. The adventure motorcycle has been circling the news since long while the fans are eagerly waiting for some details on the upcoming quarter-litre bike.
The spy shots feature the motorcycle in a completely camouflaged look though, one can easily recognise that the spied motorcycle is KTM 250 Adventure as it features a halogen headlight setup instead of the full-LED setup offered to the recently surfaced test mules of the 390 Adventure.
Since the brand has already equipped the KTM 390 Duke with an LED headlight, one can easily expect its Adventure variant to feature the same. In addition to this, the KTM 250 Duke has been equipped with a halogen lamp upfront thus confirming the test mule to be the 250 Adventure motorcycle.
Apart from the difference in the headlight setup, the test mule of the motorcycle features almost identical features as that of the 390 Adventure. One can also spot the use of a fully-digital TFT display on the 250cc adventure variant, which was initially considered to feature a standard console.
In addition to this, the brand has also equipped the upcoming 250 Adventure with identical Continental-branded tyres as seen on its 390cc sibling. The motorcycle also features the same crash guard as well as the pannier setup.
Since KTM is expected to offer an affordable price tag to the 250cc Adventure variant, one can further expect it to offer the KTM MyRide connectivity as well as other premium features as an additional accessory for their production variants.
The brand is expected to unveil the 390 Adventure at the EICMA next month though the recent reports suggest that the Indian launch of KTM 250 Adventure will take place in the initial months of 2020.
Powering the upcoming 250cc variant will be a BS6-compliant engine and since the KTM Duke 250 offers a maximum power of 30hp and a peak torque of 24Nm, the power and torque figures will most likely be tuned to suit the characteristics of the 250 Adventure.
