Kawasaki has released a series of videos on its Ninja ZX-25R, which portrays the upcoming sportbike’s state-of-art performance and impressive styling. Another latest video released by the brand showcases the four-cylinder engine on the ZX-25R redlining at 17,000 rpm. Though the brand has not yet disclosed the power and torque figures of the motorcycle, the recently released video is a proof of its noteworthy performance. The brand has equipped the upcoming motorcycle with a semi-digital instrument console where the tachometer records the redline at 17,000 rpm. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is further equipped with a traction control system in addition to getting multiple ride modes. Coming to the other bits and pieces of the instrument panel, the brand has offered it an overall sophisticated styling with warning indicators positioned on the left side of the tachometer while the other side features a multi-function LCD screen as well as a gear position indicator. The LCD screen further offers apt riding stats with odometer, trip meters, engine temperature, speedometer reading and more. Drawing inspiration from its elder sibling Ninja ZX-6R, the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R features a twin-pod headlight unit in addition to getting a bulky fuel tank design. The glossy-black side fairing features the turn indicators integrated at the sides while the taillight has been further borrowed from the mighty Ninja ZX-10R. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with a high tensile steel trellis frame while the split seat design and a small exhaust system completes its overall sporty outlook. Article image Comparing the ZX-25R with the likes of high-performance motorcycles like KTM RC390 and Yamaha YZF-R3, the former is only capable of redlining at 11,000 rpm while the latter redlines at 12,500 rpm. One can expect the 249cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R to offer a maximum power of 60HP though there has been no official confirmation on the same. If and when launched in India, the brand is expected to offer the ZX-25R with a premium price tag of around INR 5 lakh (ex-showroom).
