Cash Discount on Ninja 400: Kawasaki Ninja 400 was launched few weeks back at INR 4.69 lakh. The price was pretty shocking for many as buyers guessed on a tag around INR 3.99 lakh. Anzen Kawasaki, Mumbai are offering flat INR 20,000 discount on Ninja 400’s price, making the step quite controversial for a bike that has been recently launched.
Hearing discount on old models like Ninja 300 and ZX-10R was quite genuine as they are slowly losing their position from the market but dropping price for new variant is a bold move. Getting INR 20,000 cash discount will only be valid on bookings made in April 2018.

Ninja 300 will be internationally discontinued after some time. Ninja 400 was slotted as a replacement in many countries but in India, the price difference made them two completely different products. Ninja 300 is sourced from Thailand under FTA while Ninja 400 comes from an undisclosed market.
Both are CKD products and thus, one can expect Kawasaki to drop price once Ninja 300 is discontinued. Present generation pricing of Ninja 400 makes it closer to Z650 and would only fetch limited number of buyers. Kawasaki Z900 RS has also been launched with a similarly odd price.
